Osteopathy is a holistic, hands-on approach to healthcare that focuses on the musculoskeletal system and its impact on overall health and well-being. This practice is based on the principle that the body has the inherent ability to heal itself when its structure and function are in proper alignment.
About Me
“I see osteopathy as a unique and holistic approach to health. My aim is to support the body’s natural ability to recover by using hands-on techniques, alongside advice on exercise and lifestyle. Osteopathy can play a valuable role in reducing pain, improving function and supporting overall wellbeing”.
Who I am and why I work
My clinical interests include recovery and the interventions that help assist it, the effects of regular exercise on overall health, nutrition and how our choices influence long-term wellbeing and longevity. For the most part, my practical involvement lies in assisting patients through pain and recovery; helping them manage symptoms, restore function and regain confidence in their bodies.
I take an open minded approach to all positive health modalities, recognising recovery is rarely one dimensional and that different methods can complement each other. My goal is to provide evidence based, practical care that helps each patient recover efficiently and maintain a strong long term wellbeing. I’m meticulous in how I work, paying close attention to the finer details that often make the biggest difference.
When I’m not in clinic you’ll usually find me outdoors; hiking, training, or off exploring the world. Movement has always been a big part of my life, so I understand how frustrating it can be when pain gets in the way. That’s why my approach is grounded in empathy, practicality, and working with you to find what really helps; no fluff or pressure.
Helping you move well, feel better and stay active
Osteopaths in the UK are highly trained healthcare professionals. We complete a minimum of four years undergraduate study covering anatomy, physiology, clinical diagnostics and hands on skills, along with over 1,000 hours of supervised clinical practice.
All UK osteopaths are registered with the general osteopathic council (GOsC) which ensures we meet national standards for safety, training and ongoing professional development.
Helping you move well, feel better and stay active
Staying mobile and strong is something I genuinely believe in; it’s not just about feeling better now – it’s also about supporting your long term health, so you can keep doing what you love, for as long as possible.
That belief shapes the way I work. My approach is rooted in hands-on experience and a real understanding of what it means to stay active. Through tailored, practical care, I aim to support you through pain, recovery, or simply moving with more ease.
Everyone’s story is different. I’ll always take the time to listen and work with you in a way thats realistic, evidence-based, and centred around what matters to you most – without pressure or assumptions, just care that helps you get back to what you love.
